LESSON 5

A Course In Oneness Blog

Instructions below *

Intro to Part I

LESSON 5

 I am never upset for the reason I think.

+++

The essence of upset is generally about the “other”, even when it seems to be about “me”. The definition of “me” is always related to the “other”.

The idea of the “other”, is based on the assumption that the idea of “something-else” is not only possible but true. This must be a lie, if Oneness is true. You will not to focus on the lie while you are upset.

In other words, “Upset-ness” is a wonderful distraction from noticing that separation is not true.

  1. Hi Ken, I love your comment: “In other words, “Upset-ness” is a wonderful distraction from noticing that separation is not true.” It just touched the right place in my consciousness today and I had an aha with it: of course, what a great tool for the ego to distract us from our ONENESS. As long as I am upset at someone I certainly will not remember I am one with them. Love and light, Patricia 🙂 .
