A Course In Oneness Blog

Intro to Part I

My meaningless thoughts are showing me a meaningless world.

What you currently call thinking occurs as a voice that you hear in your head. You have identified with this “chatterer” and have accepted all of its chatter as though it was you “thinking”. What you have overlooked is that you have been made “the listener”.

The voice chatters on, about differences and distinction and why they are important. It chatters on about the threat that results from these differences.

Because of your identification with this voice, you accept the world-view of the chatterer and you seldom question it. When you do question the validity of its chatter, you do so based on its world view. In other words, you question the voice in one area but not in another because that area is different and that difference is important (says the voice).

To the extent that you believe differences are important, forgiveness will be a challenge. This, is the barrier to the experience of loves presence.

There can be no barriers that separate, if Oneness is true.
