Intro to Part I

These thoughts do not mean anything.

They are like the things I see in this room

[on this street, from this window, in this place].

Oneness Commentary:

A Course In Miracles states,

”What is everything leaves room for nothing else”

This means that Oneness, God’s Reality, is the only reality. If you did not believe in “something-else”, you would not seem to be “here”. Many are those that intellectually accept that Oneness is true. However, generally speaking, if you seem to be “here”, you believe in “something-else”.

You have questioned the meaning that you have given the experiences of your perceptions. It is time to consider the thoughts that supplied that meaning. These thoughts are about specialness and not Oneness.

The purpose of this blog is to assist you with deepening into A Course In Miracles by clarifying the Course concept of Oneness.

  1. The first paragraph made perfect sense to me and since we are all here, you, me, etc. that’s the case for all of us. We are still in the soup of the “here” no matter how much ACIM we are doing. You have been doing it for so many years and you are still “here”. The first sentence in the second paragraph is murky for me so I’m letting it be. The last sentence is fine.

  2. I just went to the Text and read “What is everything leaves room for nothing else. Yet is this magnitude beyond the scope of this curriculum. Nor is it necessary we dwell on anything that can not be immediately grasped.” So since this is not being immediately grasped by me, I’m going to let it go for now. xo:)
