Oneness Commentary:
LESSON 52
+++
W-pI.52.1. (6) I am upset because I see what is not there.
There is either Oneness or there is “Something else”. God creates in the mode of Oneness and not in the mode of this world that you perceive. “The Real” world, that God created, cannot be perceived.
Even though “The Real” is not perceptible, “The Real” is what you really are. This is why the experience of “Something else”, must be upsetting.
W-pI.52.2. (7) I see only the past.
The perceptible world is experienced through difference and distinctions. You notice that your “current” experience of it is different from your “past” experience. You think that what you look upon is real and true. You fail to recall that only Oneness can be Real and True or to notice the evidence of Oneness shining behind perceptions.
W-pI.52.3. (8) My mind is preoccupied with past thoughts.
The meaning of the Oneness of “eternity” is the state of being “outside of time” or timelessness.
In time, Separation is justified, as today is experienced as different than yesterday or tomorrow. In this way, time argues against Oneness. Because you think there are problematic differences between past and present, you are distracted from questioning the lie of separation.
W-pI.52.4. (9) I see nothing as it is now.
You chose to see the “here and now” by comparing it to a different place and in a past moment. This is not possible in Oneness.
W-pI.52.5. (10) My thoughts do not mean anything.
Private means set apart, which has no meaning in Oneness.
My natural thoughts are those I think with (the Universe) God.
