Intro to Part I
Intro to Lessons 51 – 60
W-pI.55.1. (21) I am determined to see things differently.
Disease, disaster, and death must be separation ideas and are therefore not real. Their illusory nature does not, however, prevent them from being tools for your learning.
Seeing the illusion differently is the necessary preparation to accustom your mind to Oneness. To see the illusion differently is the same as seeing yourself differently.
W-pI.55.2. (22) What I see is a form of vengeance.
If the Reality of God is Oneness (or Non-Difference), the world of separated things represents an attack on the idea that Oneness is true. Attack is clearly a form of vengeance.
The “love” that you know is the profound appreciation for a thing because it is different from other things. The Love of God is the recognition of Non-Difference (Oneness). The peace of loving thoughts comes from the idea that the Love of God and the Love of His Son are One.
That is God’s Reality.
W-pI.55.3. (23) I can escape from this world by giving up attack thoughts.
To Forgive is to notice that your perceptions are your separation thoughts projected outward. To Forgive is to accept responsibility (not fault) for what seems to belong to someone else. To Forgive is to know the “other” in a “non-Different” way.
W-pI.55.4. (24) I do not perceive my own best interests.
If you are a sea turtle and you think you are a hare, you will try to eat things that do not prosper you. You will neglect the expansive watery environment suited to your real nature and experience suffering in a place that is not your home.
Choose expansiveness as your Home.
W-pI.55.5. (25) I do not know what anything is for.
If the separated world is true then you have separated from God. If Oneness is true, you remain as God created you, non-different from God.
The purpose of this blog is to assist you with deepening into A Course In Miracles by clarifying the Course concept of Oneness.
