Oneness Commentary:

LESSON 78

Let miracles replace all grievances.

From the point of view of Oneness, consider the meaning of grievance and the meaning of miracle:

Your grievance allows you to justify the differences between certain situations or persons. Your grievance follows from the idea that separation must be true. Grievances recognize a separate and “outside” mover that victimizes. Because you see victims, you are upset and do not question the false and foundational assumption that separation is true.

A miracle recognizes that the essence of anything that seems to be outside you is no different than your essence. If Oneness is true, then “you” are the source of what appears to be “out there”.  Victim and victimizer are, therefore, non-different. If the victim and victimizer are non-different, then neither can be true.

Grievances are not “bad” or “wrong”. The grievance is simply unjustified as it is based on what is not true.

The miracle is not simply “the good” but is based on what is True.

The Miracle knows no differences because Oneness is true.

I am entitled to miracles.

Oneness is, of course, simple. It is the only Reality.

It is possible to deny Reality, but its all-encompassing simplicity remains true even though it is not your experience.

Miracles return the mind to the Reality of Oneness, the experience of your true inheritance.

In Oneness, neither light nor peace can have an opposite.

To Forgive the world you see, is to know the light of Oneness.

To Forgive the world as it is, is to know peace.

Oneness Commentary:

LESSON 73

I will there be light.

The essence of God is Oneness.

Either Oneness is true, or this world of separation is true, but not both.

This world of separation, a denial of God’s essence, would seem to kill, attack, or at least hide God. Yet, the Light of Oneness shines beyond a world that would hide it.

The Light of this world is seen by God’s son when he has accepted that the will of God and his will are One, no different. 

The Light of this world is seen by God’s Son because Oneness is true.

There are no separate bodies in Oneness.

Only God’s plan for salvation will work.

In Oneness, there is no “other” with whom to have a grievance. In Oneness, there is no “other” to serve as the “better”.

The Knowledge of Oneness is achieved by seeing “what is” in another way. It is not achieved by seeking some “preferable”, “other” situation.

Accepting the Atonement for yourself is the Knowledge of Oneness.

Oneness Commentary:

LESSON 70

My salvation comes from me.

This world is all about the “other”. What if Oneness means there is no such thing as the “other”? When you make the “other” responsible for your salvation, you have declared that “otherness” is real and important.

The ego is distressed with that-which-is-neither-good-nor-bad; in nor out; up nor down; right nor left. The ego is comfortable with differences and distinctions. The ego must paint the Oneness of Reality with the stripes of differences and distinction, or else it (the ego) becomes distressed.

Differences and distinctions make partitions and barriers to separate this from that, “you” from the “other”. You hide behind these barriers for protection. You do not notice that the barriers alone justify your fear, not the “other”.

You accept that you are alone and isolated by all these barriers. You have forgotten what you are. You have forgotten to laugh. You have forgotten Oneness.

Without barriers, there is Oneness. If Oneness is true, there can be no “other” to fear. Fear has no place in Oneness.
