Intro to Part I

LESSON 28

Above all else I want to see things differently.

+++

You see separation as true because your mind is no longer accustomed to the abstraction of Oneness.

Oneness is the “Home” you are no longer accustomed to, yet there is a part of you that wants only this. That is the part that you will connect with today, as you continue the journey “Home.”

This course is mind preparation, for the knowing-of-Oneness. This preparation must occur while seeming to be immersed in separation.

Your task: to see all separated things in the light of Oneness.

Your goal: to accustom your mind to Oneness, without fear and distress.

Intro to Part I

LESSON 27

Above all else I want to see.

+++

You may ask, “What is there to gain in Oneness?” Ask instead, “What is lost?”

In separation you are taught to hold on to your tiny piece. The acceptance of Oneness requires that you let go of the piece in order to have the whole, the One, the All.

Intro to Part I

LESSON 26

My attack thoughts are attacking my invulnerability.

+++

The idea of “against” has no place in Oneness.

The supporting assumption of the idea “against” is separation.

While it may be possible to let go of the idea “against” by questioning this supporting assumption, it is not likely that you will do so while being distracted by your fear of harm from some perceived threat.

Oneness remains true and the idea of “against” has no place in it.

LESSON 25

Course In Oneness Blog

Instructions below *

Intro to Part I

LESSON 25

I do not know what anything is for.

+++

In the world of multiples, there are multiple things. These things have multiple purposes and your interactions with them will achieve multiple possible outcomes.

The world of multiples has taught that the differences of each thing has an importance reflected in different purposes. From this teaching, you are certain that you know, what you know, about every thing you perceive. But, when the idea of Oneness is applied to the idea of the purpose of a thing, you find it challenging to even have the right questions before you.

If Oneness is true, there be can no things. Therefor, Oneness is a complete mystery for the mind that regards things perceived.

Uncomfortable in the presence of “not-knowing”, we make some thing up. From this, the mind of multiplicity will see a drop in the oceans depths, as a “thing” apart.

If Oneness is true, there be can no things.

The development of comfort while in the presence of “not-knowing”, has tremendous value today.

LESSON 24

Course In Oneness Blog

Instructions below *

Intro to Part I

LESSON 24

I do not perceive my own best interests.

+++

In the world of multiples, there are multiple problems. These problems have multiple solutions, from which there are multiple outcomes to want.

If Oneness is true, there can only be one thing to “want”. “Want” in the context of Oneness is a mystery, an abstraction in an abstraction.

For the mind of multiplicity, “want” is like the child that would eat One whole birthday cake at his birthday party, because he thinks that doing so will make that day a great day.

You think you know what will make you happy, yet you don’t even know what you are. The world of multiples taught you that you are one among many. This is all you know about what you are.

If Oneness is true, there can only be one thing to “want”.

LESSON 23

Course In Oneness Blog

Instructions below *

Intro to Part I

LESSON 23

I can escape from the world I see

by giving up attack thoughts.

+++

Your thoughts are of segmentation, pieces and parts. Every piece and part is known by their differences and distinctions vs. other pieces and parts. Your belief that segmentation is true is an attack on Oneness, in the form of the denial of Oneness.

An attack thought is either between you and another person or between two others. If Oneness is true, the attacked and the attacker can be no different. In Oneness, there can be no such thing as “you” or “another”.

In Oneness, there can be no “victim situation”, but such a vision of insanity is possible; “You” are the source of it. Acceptance of the truth of Oneness is the escape of this vision of insanity.
