Intro to Part I

W-pi.47

Oneness Commentary:

LESSON 47

God is the strength in which I trust.

+++

Separation means that you are on your own. Separation means that there are other parts, as you are a part. These other parts must be different if separation is true. One of these other different parts may be bigger or stronger. Therefore, “threat” seems possible.

By definition, the “parts” must be unknown to each other, or else separation must be denied. You feel vulnerable to the unknown part that is potentially bigger or stronger than the part you identify as “you”.

As “you” identify with a part or a piece, the strength you identify with is the strength of a part or a piece. How can this strength be trusted compared to the strength of the whole?

Strength has no meaning in Oneness. Power is not necessary. There is no such thing as effort. This, however, is not your experience because you do not completely accept or identify with Oneness.

“You” believe the impossible. “You” believe you are a part of the indivisible.

Fortunately, Oneness remains true if you believe it or not. It is the strength of Oneness that we connect with and rely on in today’s practice.
