Intro to Part II

What is Sin?

LESSON 258

Let me remember that my goal is God.

W-pii.258

Oneness Commentary:

The pursuit of “little senseless aims” is energized by the great importance we have assigned certain particulars. Other particulars remain less important.

In this view, a particular (“something else”) will seem more important than Oneness.

The pursuit of little senseless aims causes us to forget the vital point that “something else” is not true while Oneness is true.

LESSON 253

My Self is ruler of the universe.

W-pi.253

Oneness Commentary:

There are no accidents.

All events, persons and circumstances of this world are to teach me separation; I chose to learn it.

The Self, that I am out of touch with, is known in the experience of Oneness.

Choosing the Holy Spirit as teacher will re-purpose all, for the training of the mind to experience this Self, this Oneness.

There are no accidents.

What is the World?

 LESSON 250

Let me not see myself as limited.

W-pii.250

A limit defines the borders of a “particular” and proclaims the possibility that Oneness can be partitioned.

As you see your brother limited, so must you see yourself.

It is impossible that the Son of God be limited.
