To give and to receive are one in truth.

The very concept of Oneness paves the way to Peace.

References to it in this Lesson are many: one concept; a single perception; a unified state of mind; one frame of reference; one meaning.

Beyond concept is the experience of Oneness, which is a goal of the Course.

Today we practice, for the sake of noticing for ourselves, that Oneness is true.

What I offer my brother must also be offered to myself if Oneness is true. These offerings are given and received outside time and are not sequential events if Oneness is true.

Oneness is true.

God’s peace and joy are mine.

The peace and joy of God must be the same as the Oneness of God.

What God has, “you” must also have. Therefore, the thought of sharing what God has is to identify with the Peace, Joy, and Limitlessness of Oneness.

To know this for yourself is all that there is to accept.

Separation means that happiness, like Oneness, can be partitioned. Thus, it imagines that happiness is available here, but not there; later, but not now.

Separation imagines that there can be another state besides Oneness. Thus, it imagines that there can be another state besides happiness.

In truth, God, Love, and Joy are One; with nothing else and without an opposite.
