Intro to Part II

What Is Sin

W-pii.258

Oneness Commentary:

LESSON 258

Let me remember that my goal is God.

+++

The pursuit of “little senseless aims” is energized by the great importance we have assigned certain particulars. Other particulars remain less important.

In this view, a particular (“something else”) will seem more important than Oneness.

The pursuit of little senseless aims causes us to forget the vital point that “something else” is not true while Oneness is true.

This day I choose to spend in perfect peace.

+++

Though Oneness may not be apparent, today I choose to accept that it is immanent.

In Oneness, what Will besides God’s could be true?

In the Oneness of God’s Will, I rest in peace, one with his Children.

Oneness Commentary:

LESSON 254

Let every voice but God’s be still in me.

+++

Stillness is the voice of God, for in Oneness the profound Knowingness requires no words.

“We say “God is,” and then we cease to speak, for in that knowledge words are meaningless.”

What Is Sin

W-pii.253

Oneness Commentary:

LESSON 253

My Self is ruler of the universe.

+++

There are no accidents.

All events, persons, and circumstances of this world are the reflection of my mind’s acceptance of separation. Choosing the ego to teach its meaning reinforces separation in my mind.

But my Real Self, that I am out of touch with, is known in the experience of Oneness.

Choosing the Holy Spirit as the teacher will re-purpose all, for the training of the mind to experience this Self, this Oneness.

There are no accidents.

What Is the World

W-pii.250

Oneness Commentary:

LESSON 250

Let me not see myself as limited.

+++

A limit defines the borders of a “particular” and proclaims the possibility that Oneness can be partitioned.

You see your brother as limited, so must you also see yourself.

But it is impossible that the Child of God is limited and must remain as created by God.

Oneness remains un-partitioned.
