Oneness Commentary:

LESSON 189

I feel the Love of God within me now.

+++

See the world through the “eyes of Oneness”, and you will feel the Love of God within you.

To see the world through the eyes of Oneness is to rest in the certainty that all things work together for good.

Accept, now, the gift that the eyes of Oneness must share. You need only let go of whatever barriers you hold in the way of this sight.

 W-pi.188-

Oneness Commentary:

LESSON 188

The peace of God is shining in me now.

+++

Giving is a powerful acknowledgment that what is received was indeed in the possession of the giver. Ultimately, what is not shared is not possessed.

This is why giving and receiving are the same.

True charity recognizes that Oneness is true even though my brother seems to stand apart from me, the receiver of my giving.

Intro to Part I

Intro to 181 – 200

 W-pi.187-

Oneness Commentary:

LESSON 187

I bless the world because I bless myself.

+++

Your giving is a reminder that there is no difference between giver and receiver; you still possess what you have given. As the giver and receiver are One, what is given is increased in both, which changes your mind in the direction of Oneness.

As Oneness is known in the cause, it is seen in the effect. When the cause is blessed, so is its effect.

Beyond Right vs. wrong-mindedness, there is One-Mindedness, the natural state of the Mind.

Intro to Part I

Intro to 181 – 200

 W-pi.186-

Oneness Commentary:

LESSON 186

Salvation of the world depends on me.

+++

Behind this world’s compellingly vivid but thin veneer, the unity of Oneness is ever-present.

There, at the end of time, is also the end of this world. There, this world is recognized as nothing, which it truly is. To achieve this recognition while still in time is your function, not the one you made up to go it alone. The paradox is that the end of the world is also the restoration of the world to heaven’s peace.

The recognition that this world is nothing IS salvation.

Without you, this world cannot be restored to heaven’s peace. Accepting this is not arrogance but simply an acknowledgment that Wholeness or Oneness can exclude no one. The paradox is that your choice that there is no “you,” “your own,” or “anyone” is the only choice that provides heaven’s peace.

This choosing is your role and your function, as God made you.

Intro to Part I

Intro to 181 – 200

 W-pi.185-

Oneness Commentary:

LESSON 185

I want the peace of God.

+++

To want “the peace of God” is to desire the end of dreaming. The end of dreaming is Oneness; it is not your judgment of what a better dream would be.

The “Greater Joining” is the recognition that the only thing that is Real about your brother is no different from the only thing that is Real about you.

This “Greater Joining” with your brother leads to “the peace of God,” the peace of Oneness, the end of dreaming.

Intro to 181 – 200

 W-pi.184-

Oneness Commentary:

LESSON 184

The Name of God is my inheritance.

+++

Symbols design perception.

They seem to carve up what-is-Whole (Oneness) into pieces, each carving with its given name.

Beyond symbols, there is the Knowledge of what-is-Whole. In Oneness (unity), no symbol has any meaning at all.

The Knowing-of-Wholeness belongs to you but must be experienced to be reclaimed.

Today, we intend to reclaim our true inheritance in Oneness.

Intro to Part I

Intro to 181 – 200

 W-pi.183-

Oneness Commentary:

LESSON 183

I call upon God’s Name and on my own.

+++

Worldly or illusory thoughts are of separation. Holy thought is Oneness thinking.

God’s name is not “God,” but it becomes Known through Oneness thinking. This Knowing makes any speech about the Known unnecessary, were it even possible.

Speechless and in silence, listen with a peaceful mind and heart. To do so is to “repeat” the name of God.

This devotion is the echo of God’s Holy Thought in Oneness.

The world is filled with many little names, shared using little sounds. Today, you will Think with the mind of God instead of making the little sounds of this world.

Oneness Commentary:

LESSON 182

 I will be still an instant and go home.

+++

Although unaccustomed to Oneness, your mind knows no other home is possible. That is why the world must constantly persuade you that an “other” home is possible.

The acceptance of Oneness is like having an inner, Childlike recognition of a state of total stillness.

Intro to Part I

Intro to 181 – 200

 W-pi.181-

Oneness Commentary:

LESSON 181

I trust my brothers, who are one with me.

+++

If sin is the error of accepting separation, then sinlessness must be the acceptance that you are one with all, as is your brother.

An attack on your brother is the same as an attack on God; it is the thought that Oneness is not true and that you stand apart.

To see beyond your brother’s seeming separateness is to see peace and healing. Such vision empowers your grasp of the abstraction of Oneness, your true identity.

This should be your focus.

Success is measured only by your willingness to RETURN to that focus constantly.
